Director’s Message

Banaras Institute of Teacher’s Education (BITE) was established in 2003 by Purwanchal Educational Trust to cater to the higher educational needs of young aspiring students, especially those residing in nearby rural and semi-urban areas.

We at BITE not only impart knowledge but also make every possible effort to sharpen the skills of the students because we believe: “If you know something but do not know how to make others know what you know, then knowing and not knowing both are one and the same.”

After the induction of NEP-2020 and looking at the future needs of the market forces, we have taken many measures to further improve our infrastructure — including development of an automated A.C. Library with separate reading cabins for male and female students, a separate e-Library section, and distinct teachers’ cabins.

Conduction of indoor and outdoor sports events, cultural programmes and social service activities throughout the year help to make BITE student-friendly. The walled campus with 24×7 security, monitored entry/exit and comprehensive CCTV coverage provides a safe environment for students in general and female students in particular.

Our faculty and staff are devoted, dedicated, serious and sincere to their work. Their commitment to students’ success is unwavering and they are here to support every student on his/her learning voyage.

Dear students, get out of your comfort zone, actively participate in classroom discussions and explore and expand your hidden potentials. Do not be afraid to ask questions, get help whenever and wherever you need it and most importantly, believe in yourself. Remember, Rome was not built in a day — every failure is a step towards success. So, try and try again till the goal is achieved. Hard work on a daily basis will certainly make you a successful personality, sooner than later.

Participation in sports and extra co-curricular activities will make you an all-rounder and facilitate in minimizing your daily stress in life.
